The Double Eye Needle has two eyes and is designed for sewing with 2 upper threads (needle threads). It can therefore be used to create decorative effects when quilting and when using decorative stitches. When using top threads of the same color, the seam is thicker and therefore attracts more attention, creating an effect similar to when using a thicker thread. You can create unique highlights with the Double Eye Needle when using sewing threads in different colors or using multi-coloured threads: Because there are two eyes, the sequence of the threads is always fixed unlike when using two threads in one eye. This is particularly attractive when using decorative stitches.
