About This Patch
The Marbet stretch jersey iron-on patch is purpose-built for fabrics that move. Standard iron-on patches use a woven base that can pucker or restrict stretch — this one uses a knitted jersey construction that flexes alongside your fabric, making it the right choice for gym wear, hoodies, t-shirts, lounge clothing, and fine knitwear where a rigid repair would be immediately obvious.
The heat-activated resin backing melts evenly into knit fibres under a dry iron, creating a flat, low-profile bond with no visible bulk. The 10.5 × 16cm sheet gives you enough material to cut a large single patch or several smaller ones — useful for elbow reinforcement, friction holes in gym gear, or tears in lightweight jersey garments.
How to Apply
- Cut the patch to size and round all corners.
- Place resin-side down on the repair area over flat, smooth fabric.
- Cover with a pressing cloth and press firmly with a dry iron at cotton temperature for 20–25 seconds.
- Repeat on the reverse side.
- Allow to cool fully before handling or washing.
