Application Instructions
For the best, long-lasting results, follow these simple steps:
1. Prepare: Ensure the damaged fabric area is completely clean and dry.
2. Cut to Size: Cut a piece of tape so that it overlaps the tear by at least 1cm all around. Crucially, round off the corners with scissors to prevent edges from lifting later.
3. Peel & Apply: Peel away the protective backing foil (which is scarified/scored for easy removal) and press the patch firmly over the damage.
4. Optional Heat Fix: For textiles that can be safely ironed, you can increase the adhesive bond by lightly pressing a warm iron over the patch. Always place greaseproof or baking paper between the iron and the tape to protect the nylon from melting!
• Pro-Tip: For large, open holes, apply an identical counter-piece patch on the inside/reverse side of the fabric for a rock-solid seal.
