This is the classic, ever-popular pencil pleat curtain tape with a multi pocket design. Eight evenly spaced cord sets run across the full width of the tape, giving over 25 hook positions so you can fine-tune the height of your curtains as the fabric settles over time, while the smooth, flat back keeps the finish neat with crisp, upright pleats. On lightweight fabrics each set can act as an individual pocket, and the three draw cords encased in tubes create a refined D-style pencil pleat with 2.3x fullness and over 40 styling variations.

How to Use with Hints and Tips:

  • Order the length to suit the finished width of your curtains, as the tape is measured and cut from the roll.
  • Stitch the tape along the top edge of the curtain, leaving the draw cords accessible so the pleats can be gathered.
  • Use at least six pocket cords to hold curtain hooks firmly in position for secure hanging.
  • Adjust hooks between the pockets to fine-tune curtain height as the fabric settles over time.
  • On lightweight fabrics, each of the eight cord sets can be used as an individual pocket.
